My name is Phil Cross and for 43 long years I've been a proud Hell's Angel. Everyone has their own story about what led them to join, but we all have something in common: a love of bikes and a devotion to our friends. This story is mine. I've been a Hell's Angel longer than people thought I could survive. And I'm not kidding; I've been a bit of a savage since I was a kid, and I've been told more than once, twice, or ten times that I wouldn't live to be thirty, or even twenty-one. You get the picture. Well, it turns out they were all wrong... horribly wrong. I survived a liver transplant at fifty-one and even stage four cancer a year later. You'd probably say I was lucky, or that I was destined to live a long and interesting life (and you'd be right). It all started in my hometown of San Francisco.
